What is this service?
Web Service Monitoring–Basic represents is a subscription services provided for monitoring the availability of your web page, specific URL, or individual server IP Address.

What choices do you have?

Have one or more web pages or other network services monitored by any of the following subscription methods:
  • DNS Lookup
  • HTTP Get
  • HTTPS Get
  • ICMP Ping
  • TCP Port Access
How does this work?
The ITdash back-end data collection engine will poll your selected web page, server IP, or port address from our data center location. The polling frequency and configuration items will be determined by you. Your service’s data is then gathered by the ITdash database server and delivered to the ITdash online dashboard for your review and analysis. Additionally, external notification can be subscribed to immediately notify you if your web services is experiencing a predefined difficulty.

What should you expect?
Service questionnaire, assessment, and consultation prior to activation
  • Live on-line ITdash-board login access to the availability status of your monitored service or web page
  • Live on-line ITdash-board login access to the performance (response-time) status of your monitored service or web page
  • Service Monitoring status and performance displayed in graph and chart format per service or URL
  • External notification via e-mail, pager, or other "cool" / "top secret" method based on subscription
